Owls - Year 6
Meet the Teacher - 7.9.26
Thanks so much to the parents who came to 'Meet the Teacher this afternoon. It's going to be fantastic reconnecting with you all and getting to know our new parents too.
As promised, please find below, a copy of my presentation used in the meeting. Also provided are: the Year 6 KIRFS and the Home Learning 'Buffet' Grid.
Introductory Home Learning activities have been set on 'Century Tech' for this week, as well as Spellings on 'Spelling Shed'. The children have been online to see how to locate their Assignments!
For extra enrichment in Reading, please go to this website for lots of fabulous texts across all genres:

Have a great week,
Best wishes,
Mrs Ryker :)

Welcome to Year 6!
I hope that you all had a fantastic break and I would like to welcome you to Year 6! I am delighted to be given the opportunity to teach your children again as they enter the final year of their journey at Cheapside. I also look forward to becoming reacquainted with those parents I already know and to meet those parents of children who may have joined the school more recently.
***Please be advised that our P.E.days for the Autumn Term will be on a Monday and a Tuesday. Your child should wear their P.E. kit into school on those days. ***
I will be posting lots of useful information on this page in due course - so please do visit often!
With kindest regards,
Mrs Ryker :)
Homework – Spring 2
As part of our ongoing SATS preparation, we have given out CGP workbooks for the children to work through.
There will be pages set every Monday, due the following Monday.
We set all the pages in class, so please ask if you're unsure of which pages to complete for a given week.
Thank you for all of your continued support,
Mr. Wickenden and Mrs. Lewis
