Forest School – Wednesday 23/5/18

We had a lovely afternoon in the sun this week exploring the colours that we can find in our forest. The children went on a colour bingo hunt and even attempted to make their own paint pallet using natural materials. The most creative and express work was the Hapa Zome activity. Hapa Zome is the Japanese art of beating up leaves with hammers, pounding natural pigment into cloth. Robins were very proud of what they produced!

Robins have done a fantastic job preparing the allotment for planting. They have also planted peas and potatoes which they have grown from seed. Well done Robins !

Forest School Wednesday 21/3/18

Robins had a delightful afternoon in Forest School this week. To link in with our focus on Easter, we made some Easter gardens. We talked about the key symbols in the garden, the cross and the tomb and what they represent. The gardens are truly beautiful as I am sure you will all agree! Great work Robins!
